Taifun returned to the fourth line
After a one-and-a-half-week break, Taifun continued its home series, confidently defeating SKA-Yunior with a score of 4:2.
The start of the game was promising. Taifun opened the scoring in the fifth minute of the match. When the guests entered zone of Taifun, Stepan Levitsky and Roman Strochkin capitalized on the their mistakes, with Levitsky finishing the attack, making the score 1:0. Just a minute later, the equalizer found its way into Ruslan Kakenov's net, with Yevgeni Dubrovtsev scoring for the guests – 1:1. In the second half of the period, SKA-Yunior had the opportunity to take the lead by using a 5-on-3 advantage, but the hosts managed to hold firm.
The Primorye team started the second period pretty well, but by the middle of the twenty-minute frame, they lost their momentum and, as a result, conceded a goal. Vladislav Paray put the Krasnogorsk team ahead. After this goal, the pace of the game has decreased significantly.
During the break, Ilgiz Nuriyev's team seemed to reboot. Taifun started the final frame excellently and was able to extend the lead. In the 47th minute, Roman Strochkin tied the score. Stepan Levitsky skillfully maneuvered past the SKA players, setting up the puck for Strochkin, who sent it into the top corner with a powerful shot – 2:2. The fantastic work of the first line players played a key role. Sultan Sobirov, Artyom Plaksin, and Ivan Fomin created an intriguing attack that resulted in the winning goal. Just a few moments later, Daniil Sokolov solidified the team's success by scoring the fourth goal. This was the debut goal for the forward in the JHL.
The final score of the match was 4:2.
