Dramatic ending

Taifun started the new week with a match in Kondopoga. On September 5, the Primorye team met with Hors-Karelia.
In the fifth minute of the game Taifun players found themselves catching up, the players of Hors-Karelia opened the score. The first period was dynamic, with a minimum of stops and absolutely no penalty minutes.
By the middle of the second twenty minutes Hors-Karelia increased their lead making it 2:0. This was followed by two quick goals by Taifun. The work on mistakes began with a goal by Roman Strochkin, assisted by Stepan Levitsky. A couple of minutes later, the puck slipped into the goal, bouncing off the skate of Leonid Zhdanovsky - 2:2.
In the second period, the Taifun players were brighter than their opponent, there was a significant difference in shots on goal 18:6. However, two consecutive penalties forced Ilgiz Nuriyev's team to find themselves catching up again, although not for a very long time. The home team converted the many men advantage - 3:2. Taifun responded right away: Andrei Florovsky brought the puck out from behind the goal, made a pass, and Roman Taranenko, being in front of the goalkeeper, tucked it in - 3:3.
In the third period, the game of catch-up continued, which almost ended in a collapse for Taifun. Primorye team miraculously managed to respond to the fourth goal of Hors-Karelia one second before the final siren. Roman Strochkin gave his team a chance to win in over time. In the end, the overtime ended quickly, with Hors-Karelia taking two points, and Taifun will be looking for revenge tomorrow.
On September 10, the teams will play a second match. The start is at 19:00 Moscow time, 02:00 Vladivostok time.
