Lost to Minsk
The Sailors are at the finish line of the preseason training camp. There are only a few test games left. On August 26, one of such a game was held against the most award-winning team of Belarus - Minsk Yunost.
We can't say that either team was dominating during the first period. First, the Sailors were pressing the Belarus team in their own zone, then everything turned 180 degrees. The teams had one attempt during power play, but both times the goalies saved the day. Two minutes before the end of the first period, Alexander Kulagin went on a rendezvous with Ilya Konovalov. This time the Admira’ls No. 40 failed to save his team, 0:1.
The fans didn't see any goals in the second period, but there were several goals in the third frame.
Dmitry Zavgorodny cut the difference in the score by literally shooting in close to Kuznetsov's goal. It seemed to be a silver lining, but it was the beginning of the end. On 51 minutes Nikita Verenich scored his third goal, and three minutes before the end of the game Vladislav Shilo made the score more than just comfortable for his team. The result of the match was 1:4, Yunost won.
