We’ve got it!

On January 25, Typhoon played their second home game against AKM-Junior. The previous day, Primorye team lost to the guests with a score of 1:4.

In the last game, home team players were defeated after conceding three goals in the second period. In the opening period of the second game, Typhoon made up for those three goals. Like the visitors the day before, the home team capitalized on the power play twice.

Demyan Yermak, who had scored the only goal for Typhoon a day earlier, started the action and this time opened the score in the 6th minute.

Efimov gave a pass to Levitsky in the centre, Levitsky redirected the puck to Ermak, and the forward precisely finished the combination – 1:0. Two minutes later, Andrei Florovsky made the perfect use of the momentum: an opponent fouled on a Typhoon player, the referee raised his hand to signal a penalty, and the home team scored into Tula team net immediately – the goalie even had no time to leave the rink (2:0). Roman Strochkin assisted Florovsky. Before the middle of the first period, Primorye team scored their third power play goal: Nikita Kryukov played close to the net, Levitsky and Efimov earned more points – 3:0.

At the beginning of the second period, Typhoon players were under severe pressure from the guests. Primorye team rode it out and gradually leveled the game after being short-handed. Five minutes before the break, Alexander Sabirzyanov sent the puck into the top corner of Vladimir Istomin’s net, who replaced Viktor Levchenko after the third missed goal. The goal was the first at Junior Hockey League level for Sabirzyanov, assisted by his namesake Alexander Grigoryan. Typhoon went into the second break with a comfortable four-goal advantage.

In the 47th minute, the visitors still managed to hit Alexey Noskov's net – 4:1. It seemed that the game calmed down, but that was not the case. The fans saw three more goals, and one of them was magnificent: Alexander Grigoryan and Andrei Florovsky played an impressive combination, where Grigoryan became a scorer – 5:1. AKM-Junior players scored two more times, slightly blurring the end of the game for the home team.

Nevertheless, Typhoon took a convincing revenge with a 5-3 victory.

In early February, Typhoon will go for away series, where they will spend the whole month. Ilgiz Nuriev's team will travel along the route of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Bobruisk and again Moscow. The next home game will be held on March 1st against Mikhailov Academy from Tula.
