The guests opened the scoring on the power play in the 12th minute. This goal was the only one in the period – 0:1.
In the second period, Alexei Ivashinnikov managed to even the score, capitalizing on the power play – 1:1. Inspired by the goal, Typhoon conducted several dangerous attacks, but soon Sakhalin Sharks seized the initiative and scored the second goal, again taking the lead – 1:2.
