Earned a Point in the game against the leader

On December 11, Taifun played a rematch against Dinamo-Shinnik. The day before, the Primorye team lost to the leader of the Silver Division with a score of 4:5.
The second game between the teams, as is often the case, was not so high scoring. The visitors had the advantage during the first period. However, they managed to outplay Privolov by the end of the period, taking advantage of a power play. In the second period, Dinamo-Shinnik faced more disciplinary issues, providing a great opportunity for the hosts to seize the initiative. They took advantage of this, increasing the number of approaches to the opponent's goal. However, they were only able to capitalize on one attack. Andrei Florovsky picked up the puck at the blue line, passed it to Pavel Gavrilko, who scored the equalizer – 1:1.
In the third period, Alexander Privolov, the Taifun goalie, became the hero of the game. Thanks to his efforts, the game went into overtime. However, the first shift in the extra five minutes proved to be decisive – a Shinnik player converted a one-on-one breakaway.
It’s worth noting that before this match, Taifun had never defeated Dinamo-Shinnik. This is the second game in which the Primorye team earned points from the Belarusian side.
