Typhoon players went on their new away series. Ilgiz Nuriev's team will play away from Vladivostok for the whole of February. The first stop is Saint Petersburg. In the Northern capital Typhoon will play against Dynamo Saint Petersburg and SKA-1946.

Last season, Dynamo finished eighth in Gold Division of the West. In the play-in, Dynamo players faced Amur Tigers, who won Silver Division. The team from Khabarovsk won the first game in St. Petersburg, then Dynamo SPb celebrated success twice. In the first round of the playoffs there was a derby: Dynamo encountered SKA-1946.
