One of Gagarin Cup’s first round series has moved to Vladivostok, where Admirals and Traktor will play against each other on March 31st and April 2nd.

The teams have played twice in Chelyabinsk recently, and the games were completely different. In the first one, the opponents scored nine goals in total. By the first ten minutes, the Sailors had already scored two goals, and during the course of the game they twice had a three-goal lead. The game ended with a score of 5:4 in favor of the visitors. Shevchenko, Prince, Shestakov, Gutik and Petukhov scored for Admirals.

In the second game, Admirals were close to creating a sensation again. There were few goals in the game: the Sailors opened the scoring with a help of Shen, and Soshnikov had a chance to decide the outcome of the game with a solo breakaway to Fucale’s net at the end of the third period, when the score was 1:1. The goalie didn't let the opponent beat him, so the game went into overtime, where Traktor was managed to score a quick goal, tying the series 1:1.

This way, Admirals fulfilled their minimum task in Chelyabinsk. The start of the home part of the series with an equal score can give the psychological advantage to Leonid Tambiyev's wards.
