The fifth game
One of Gagarin Cup playoffs’ series moved to Chelyabinsk, where the fifth game between Admirals and Traktor will take place on April 4th. The teams played four games, and each of the opponents won one home game and one away game. The first game in Vladivostok ended in overtime, the outcome of which was decided by Nikita Soshnikov – 4:3 OT. In the second game, the Sailors were the first to open the scoring again, and until the end of the first period they had a two-goal lead. However, they didn’t manage to keep it, conceding four unanswered goals from Traktor in the second period. The final score was 3:7. The next game will put one of the teams ahead, and then the series will move to Vladivostok.

Leaders

Alexander Kadeikin extended his scoring streak to seven games – 7 points (2+5). Maxim Shabanov became Traktor’s best scorer in the playoffs after last game, where he scored 5 goals, and now he has 7 points in total (2+5) – it is one of the best playoffs results in the whole league. Libor Sulak (2+3) and Grigory Dronov (1+4) are among the top-5 scorers-defensemen. Steven Kampfer has one less point (1+3), but he's also on the list. Artyom Blazhiyevsky scored three goals – he is the best sniper-defenseman in the playoffs by now. Nikita Soshnikov is among the top-5 snipers. Admirals defenseman Georgy Solyannikov is one of the best for blocked shots (15 in 4 games). The next game will be the 200th in KHL for forward Dmitry Zavgorodny and defenseman Artyom Chmykhov.

Upcoming match

The game in Chelyabinsk will be the 37th for the teams in KHL history. Admirals have 13 victories.
