Last chance to get back on track
In the first round of KHL playoffs, Admirals and Traktor defeated each other twice (5:4, 1:2 OT, 4:3 OT, 3:7) before traveling to Chelyabinsk for the fifth game. Admirals were extremely close to get ahead in the series for the third time – they had a four-goal lead by the 48th minute, but then it was completely wasted in the end (4:5 OT). Traktor will try to finish the series in the Far East, but the Sailors are clearly eager to extend the confrontation to a seventh game in Chelyabinsk. Will they succeed? It is expected that forward Vitaly Kravtsov may soon return to the lineup of the guests.
Leaders
Libor Sulak is one of the best scorers and playmakers in the current playoffs among defensemen (2+3 in five games). Forward Nikita Soshnikov is among the top-5 snipers with three goals in four games, one of which was a home victory. Defensemen Semyon Ruchkin and Georgy Solyannikov are among the top five for blocked shots (16 each in five games).
Speaking of Traktor, forward Maxim Shabanov is one of the playoffs' best scorers and playmakers (3+5 in five games). Forward Vasily Glotov has the same number of assists. Alexander Kadeikin's personal scoring streak is eight games (2+6). Glotov has scored points in three straight games (0+4), as well as Semyon Der-Arguchintsev (2+2). Grigory Dronov is the best scorer and playmaker among defensemen (2+5 in five games). His teammate Steven Kampfer, whose personal scoring streak is three games (2+3), has just two points less. Artyom Blazhiyevsky, is among the top-5 snipers, scoring three goals in five games, including two winning goals.
Upcoming match
The game will be the 38th for the teams in KHL history. Admirals have 13 victories, while Traktor won 24 games. Broadcast on OTV-Prim and KHL TV channels, and Kinopoisk service.
