A bright comeback

On November 24, Admiral hosted their neighbors, Amur Khabarovsk.
The Sailors started the second game of the Far East derby in a hostile manner but conceded a quick goal in the second minute of the game. Talaluev scored that goal, and this was his first puck for the Tigers.
Primorsye team could answer the conceded goal quickly. Shen had a good opportunity. The forward got the puck on the goal crease and tried to beat the goalie in close combat, he managed to do it, but the puck passed near the goal post just in a few centimeters.
That attack was one of the few sharp ones, even though Admiral had a huge lead. By the middle of the period, the home team was dominating the puck for about five minutes, while their opponents didn't even have a minute of play.
In the second half of the period success was hindered by penalties. Two minutes apart, the Sailors had three penalties. The special units were able to cope with it. Shen had another chance to tie the scores in the short minutes of the game. Starkov executed a precise toss to the slot in the direction of No. 16. The puck reached its destination, but there was very little room for maneuvering, the goalie went down on his pads and blocked the path.
The teams could have gone to the break with the score set in the first few minutes. But 2 seconds before the siren, Durandeau took advantage of a lineup change mistake to score his second puck.
In the second period, the Sailors attacked more. Admiral players had scoring opportunities. And in half of them, it was harder to keep up than to score. But the Sailors didn't upset young goalie Kobozev, who was playing his third game in the KHL. During the period, Primorye team spent more than 8 minutes on offense and shot 18 times, while they failed to get any penalties. Shen served his two minutes in the penalty box. It's hard to say what the score was on Sulak's shot that put the puck in the net, but it happened in the 33rd minute. The captain waited for traffic in front of the goal and made a wrist shot.
The Sailors finished the period with power play, which was the first one of the game. For a minute and a half, they held the opponent at the goal but failed to even the score before the intermission.
The Sailors started the third period on the power play. The Sailors had 30 seconds left for unequal power play, but six were enough. Petukhov got the puck.
The joy of the goal continued for exactly three minutes. But Gracheyov played greatly on the crease, scoring on the power play. That goal was the Tigers' last goal in the game. But Admiral weren't going to stop. In the 46th minute, Petukhov and Soshnikov played pool, and the puck flew into the net from the stick of Soshnikov. A minute later, Admiral took the lead for the first time in the game. Zavgorodny and Fiore repeated the goal by Starkov and Sulak. Fiore shot, Zavgorodny set up, scoring the game-winning goal. But it wasn't the final one of the game. In the final minutes, the guests pulled the goalie, and it turned into a double by Soshnikov. The result was 5-3, and Admiral made a beautiful comeback, winning their second victory in the Far Eastern Derby.
